Q: What are your major products and markets?
A: A-Leader focuses on producing all kinds of genuine leather goods although we produce products in pu; pvc; nylon; micro-fiber and canvas as well. We export our goods to all over the world. Our major markets are Germany; Italy; UK; Japan; USA and Canada.
Q: Can I develop products of my own design?
A: Yes, we can make samples according to your sketches and prototypes. However, since we have 30 years of experience in this industry, we may already produce products similar to your design. Therefore, you are suggested to go through our current products and you may simply follow our design.

Development costs are charged on making samples for your own design. The minimum cost is USD 20.00/style depending on the complication of the style and if there is original sample provided. This cost is non-refundable.
Q: What kind of leather and lining materials I can use?
A: We offer a wide range of cow leathers although there are also pig; lamb and goat skins available. For full grain cow leathers, there are vegetable tanned leather; milling nappa; printed leather; croco printed leather; crunch pull up leather; vintage leather etc.

There are also split leather and bonded leather of various kind of grain and pattern for selection. The regular linings we are using are polyester fabric; satin; 210D nylon; twill fabric and cloth fabric with pattern.
Q: Can customized logo be made on my products?
A: Yes, the customized logo can be embossed or debossed on the products; printed on the lining as well as engraved or lasered on the metalwares. There will be development cost on the metal logo molds. The costs will depend on the size and complication of the logo.
Q: How do you charge for the samples?
A: Development costs are charged on making samples for your own design which are non-refundable.

Samples in our current styles in leather are charged double of the quoted prices. For making samples in our current styles in pu/pvc/nylon/canvas, we will charge 4 times of the quoted prices. If the modifications on our current styles involve change in dimensions, they will be considered as new styles. Development costs will be charged in this case. When there is an order placed against the samples, half of the sample charge will be refunded for the ordered items.
Q: How long does it take to make samples?
A: Please allow 2-3 weeks for sampling after we receive your sample payment. The exact lead time depends also on the material availability as well as the number of samples requested.
Q: How do you deliver my samples?
A: The samples are expected to be sent via clients’ courier account under door-to door basis. Clients should provide their courier account for sending the samples. If samples are sent via AIR freight through appointed forwarder, clients should notify us this arrangement when sample order is placed. There will be extra transportation and handling costs involved. The minimum extra costs charged is USD300.00 per sample delivery when shipment below 500Kgs and USD0.35Kg when it exceeds 500Kgs; and based on actual reimbursement when the volumetric weight is high.
Q: What is the general MOQ?
A: The prices quoted are based on FOB Shenzhen / HK by SEA freight for standard minimum order quantity (MOQ). Generally, MOQ for our current styles in genuine leather goods is 100pcs/style/color while it is 1000pcs/style/color for goods in imitation leather (pu/pvc).

For newly developed style, MOQ in genuine leather goods is 200pcs/style/color while it is 2,000pcs/style/color for goods in imitation leather (pu/pvc). The actual MOQ also depends on the exact design and the metal parts involved. Pls refer to our official quotation for the details.

For bulk order in a single shipment shipped under FCL (Full Container Load), we may accept smaller order quantity on each item as an exception.
Q: What are the general payment terms?
A: New clients should pay 35% deposit by T/T before production and balance before shipment. For repeated order and of amount more than USD 15,000.00, we accept payment of balance by L/C before shipment.
Q: Can I place a small trial order?
A: Yes, we understand the first trial order may be small. The qty. is negotiable and depending on the styles and materials involved. We will consider case by case. There will be extra handling charge of USD300.00 for order amount less than USD8000.00.
Q: How long does it take to finish my order?
A: The normal delivery is 55-70 days. In peak season (June to December), the delivery will be 70-90 days; depending on the material availability and the production schedule. The goods is expected to be shipped by SEA. We will show the expected completion date and shipment date on our proforma invoice. However, the actual shipment date (ETD) by SEA may be changed; depending on the vessel availability.
Q: Can I have some goods shipped earlier by AIR?
A: In case the goods is partially or totally shipped by AIR freight, there will be extra transportation charge of minimum USD300.00 when shipment below 500Kgs. The extra handling cost is charged at USD0.35/Kg when it exceeds 500Kgs. And based on actual reimbursement when the volumetric weight is high.
